International was created out of the need for a
specialist organization to assist people wishing to immigrate,
volunteer, work, bring family, study or open businesses in South
Africa.
Scalabrini Centre wants Home Affairs Cape Town office to accept new
applications by asylum seekers
On Thursday, the Department of Home Affairs was back in the Western
Cape High Court over the closure of the Cape Town Refugee Reception
Office (RRO).
When heads of state from across Africa arrive in Kigali, Rwanda next
month for the African Union (AU) Summit, they will be among the first
Africans issued the new electronic African Union passport. The
passport is meant to make travel on the continent much easier for
Africans.
In April this year in his address to the SA-Iranian Business Forum in
Tehran, South African President Jacob Zuma stated that the country was
open for business. The same concept formed an integral part for the
State of the Nation address he delivered in parliament in Cape Town on
the 11th February 2016.
The extension of current permits will ensure that boat-based whale
watching and White shark cage-diving activities continue as usual.
Over 50 people including South African Home Affairs officials have
been arrested on their side of the Beitbridge border post in a
development that has left Zimbabwean officials in panic mode. SA
