International was created out of the need for a
specialist organization to assist people wishing to immigrate,
volunteer, work, bring family, study or open businesses in South
Africa.
Lawyers for Human Rights (LHR) will appear in the Constitutional Court
tomorrow (Tuesday 8 November 2016) to challenge the constitutionality
of the provisions of the Immigration Act relating to detention.
Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba told Parliament that his
department had issued more than 680 000 smart ID cards to South
Africans 16 and older in the last year.
Visa changes for South African nationals:
All South African visitors to New Zealand will require visitor visas
from the 21 November this year.
IT`S just a year and half left before the Zimbabwe Special Permits
expire on 31st July 2017 and the conditions are clear.
As many as 13 246 people were denied boarding to South Africa for the
period June 2015 to July 2016 because of the requirement that minors
travel with an unabridged birth certificate (UBC), according to
statistics provided by the TBCSA presented in the Portfolio Committee
on Tourism meeting in Parliament.

Francis Tahlo Mohodi (57), former Immigration Officer at the
Department of Home Affairs was found guilty by the Springbok Regional
Court on a charge of corruption.
He was arrested at Sendelingsdrift Port of Entry in Upington on 19 May
2016 and later released on warning. The Hawks Investigation into the
alleged corruption ensued soon after information was received from the
Home Affairs Counter Corruption Office. SA
