International was created out of the need for a
specialist organization to assist people wishing to immigrate,
volunteer, work, bring family, study or open businesses in South
Africa.
Kenyans are set to receive visas on arrival into South Africa in new
rules as the country revises its immigration policy.
Appeal: Human rights lawyer Tashriq Ahmed argues that all foreigners
should be able to apply for visas.
A group of asylum seekers will argue in the Constitutional Court on
Tuesday that all foreigners, including asylum seekers and refugees, in
SA are entitled to apply for visas.
The Department of Home Affairs is working hand in hand with Tourism, in
an effort to boost the number of tourists coming to South Africa.
The controversial regulations around travelling with minors have also
been addressed.
JOHANNESBURG â€` Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba says the department
is addressing the issue of long queues at home affairs offices around
the country, calling it a matter of great concern.
Companies may expect “a knock on the door” from the Department of Home
Affairs (DHA) to conduct required audits and investigations on their
employment practices of immigrant workers, the director from the DHA’s
corporate account unit, Ben Makhalemele has warned.
The Home Affairs Department wants to fast track the rollout of e-visas
to increase the number of tourists visiting the country. SA
