MILLIONS of pounds of taxpayers` cash is being spent flying home
failed asylum seekers on private jets.

In 18 months the Government splurged £14million on planes to boot
people out of the country.


And one flight that carried a single Moroccan cost £250,000.
Angry MPs are now demanding to know why the Home Office has been so
wasteful.

More than 50 private jets were used to get rid of 2,892 foreigners.
In September last year, 29 Afghans had the run of a 265-seater plane
while earlier the same year a private jet was used to transfer just 26
Albanians.


Furious home affairs committee chairman Keith Vaz said: "These are
astonishing figures for a government department that is facing huge
cuts.


"A half-empty flight is a waste of money."


And Taxpayers` Alliance boss Jonathan Isaby added: "There have to be
better ways to transport illegal immigrants home."


The Home Office said it had to assess the risk of the passengers on
board.


In the case of the solo Moroccan trip, the passenger was Al Qaeda
cyber terrorist Younes Tsouli.
