Zimbabwean illegal immigrant gets his fraudulently obtained ID revoked

A Zimbabwean illegal immigrant is in tears after his citizenship was revoked by the courts.
Bernard Nvundla was stripped of his Botswana ID (also known as the Omang) after it emerged in court that he obtained it fraudulently.
In passing sentence, the magistrate reiterated that Nvundla had been disrespectful towards Botswana by using his fraudulent ID to compete with Botswana nationals for jobs, government services and assistance.
Chief Magistrate Mareledi Dipate clarified the inherent risks associated with foreigners who obtain national documents illegally.
